Bhubaneswar: The Commissionerate Police has seized a whooping amount of Rs. 99,500 lakh in cash from a Oyo hotel in Bhubaneswar on Thursday.
The twin city Commissionerate Police has written a letter to the Income Tax Department about the seized cah and has requested them to investigate further into the matter.
Through preliminary investigation it seems to be a case of money laundering, said police sources.
The traders will be questioned by the Income Tax Department. They have been asked to submit proper paperwork in this matter.
