Balasore: In a shocking incident, three unidentified armed miscreants have looted as much as Rs. 2.5 lakh in Balasore.
According to reports, the incident took place near Mirigini on Nilagiri- Pancha lingeswar road in broad daylight.
The bike-borne armed miscreants looted the money from a person. The victim was allegedly carrying cash and was on his way to buy some farming implements.
Earlier today, three armed miscreants had looted a petrol pump in Khordha district of Odisha.
According to reports, the three miscreants opened blank fire at the staff of a petrol pump under Jankia police limits.
The petrol pump employees have further alleged that the miscreants have looted as much as Rs two lakh from them.
The entire incident has been captured on the CCTV installed in the petrol pump, said sources.
The Jankia police has reached the spot and started further investigation. They are looking into the captured CCTV footage for further leads.
