Bhubaneswar: Yet another obscene video has gone viral in Odisha, this time that of a reality show winner. The reality show was telecasted in one of the Odia channels.
The 1.7 minute intimate video which has gone viral seems to have been shot with the consent of the girl. However, the girl, who was the winner of a reality show in 2016 and a student of Journalism and Mass Communication, is yet to file a police complaint in this regard.
Speaking about the incident, Bhubaneswar DCP Anup Sahoo said, “The viral video has come to our notice. Though no complaint has been lodged yet from anybody, the Commissionerate Police will file a FIR suo motu and begin investigation into the matter.”
The state police had issued an advisory on obscene viral videos, images and arrested many accused persons, however, all of them seems to have no impact on the youth who make their obscene videos viral on social networking sites. Mostly, the youth involved in such cases are students.
Bhubaneswar, Koraput, Kalahandi, Mayurbhanj, Balasore and Bhadrak are some of the many places from where such cases of viral obscene videos have been reported in Odisha.
