Gajapati: Another laudable effort by IPS Sarah Sharma. Once again Gajapati SP Sharah Sharma has garnered appreciation for her unique endevour. This time she has been applauded over mountaineering.
A number of students scaled the Mahendragiri Mountain in the Gajapati district of Odisha led by the superintendent of Police Sarah Sharma.
All of them set out from Paralakhemundi early in the morning and scaled a distance of at least seven kilometers to reach atop the Mahandragiri hills. As per reports, after reaching the top, Sharma narrated a few mythological stories to the students.
This is another laudable and unique effort by the SP while it is surely first of its kind in the district. And hence, the effort has earned admiration from the citizens.
It is worthy to note that Sharma has earned admiration for her rare and noble works earlier as well. Few days back she had released a song titled ‘Narira Suraksha Pain Neichhu Pana’which was the theme song of the project ‘SHE Team’ on women safety. Sharma herself had lent her voice to the song which was a peppy number.
Earlier after cyclone Fani wretched havoc in the State, she came up to help out the cyclone victims. She went door to door of shops and households to collect donations for the Fani victims.
