Another Accused Involved In Jobra Murder Case Arrested

Cuttack: The prime accused in the murder of Tapan Nayak at Jobra under Malgodown police limits last month was arrested last night. Police arrested the accused Muna Reddy from Bhubaneswar.

Nayak who was stabbed multiple times with one of his associates had breathed his last at SCB Medical College. Police had earlier arrested two accused involved in the murder.

Police said that there was a tussle between one of the accused and the deceased over fishing at the Jobra anicut.

 “The deceased had assaulted one of the associates of an accused identified as Biswaranjan Mohanty for which the accused decided to kill him. Mohanty along with his three associates entered the house of the deceased and stabbed him. We re tarrying to arrest the last accused” said a police official.
