Another 73 Covid patients recover in Odisha today

Bhubaneswar: Another 73 patients have recovered from Covid-19 in Odisha, the Health & Family Welfare (H&FW) department informed on March 21. With this development the total Covid-19 recovered patients in Odisha have reached to 12,77,497.

The recovered patients are being discharged from various facilities, informed the Health department through its official Twitter handle.

According to the H&FW department of the state, the highest recoveries were in the Kendrapara district followed by Gajapati and Sambalpur districts.

The details of the recovery cases from different districts today are as follows:

12 from Kendrapara

9 from Gajapati

9 from Sambalpur

8 from Sundargarh

6 from Ganjam

4 from Nuapada

3 from Baleswar

3 from Bhadrak

3 from Jajapur

2 from Cuttack

2 from Koraput

2 from Mayurbhanj

1 from Jagatsinghpur

1 from Jharsuguda

1 from Khordha

1 from Nabarangpur

1 from Puri

1 from Sonepur

4 from State Pool

Odisha reported 40 Covid cases with 45 positives including 8 in the 0-18 years, informed the Information and Public Relations (I&PR) Department on Monday. The positive tally stands at 12,77,424.

Reportedly, among the 40 positives, 24 patients are in quarantine, and 16 are the local contacts. The active cases in Odisha currently stand at 600.
