Another 17 Covid patients recover in Odisha today

Bhubaneswar: As many as 17 patients have recovered from Covid-19 in Odisha, informed the Health & Family Welfare (H&FW) department on May 16. With this development the total Covid-19 recovered patients in Odisha have reached to 12,79, 017.

The recovered patients are being discharged from various facilities across the state, informed the Health department through its official Twitter handle.

According to the H&FW department of the state, the highest recoveries were made in Kandhamal district followed by Khordha and Nuapada.

4 from Kandhamal

3 from Khordha

3 from Nuapada

1 from Bargarh

1 from Bolangir

1 from Gajapati

1 from Kendrapara

1 from Nayagarh

2 from State Pool

 Odisha on Monday reported seven new Covid cases including two children, informed to the Information and Public Relations (I&PR) Department. The positive tally stands at 12,88,311.

Reportedly, out of the 7 patients, 5 persons are in quarantine while 2 are local contacts. The active cases in Odisha currently stand at 132.

Today, Ganjam and Sambalpur recorded the highest Covid cases with 2 positives followed by Balasore, Cuttack, and Khordha with one positive case each.
