Ambulance stuck on road due to water-logging in Cuttack

Cuttack: The heavy rainfall, due to the deep depression over Bay of Bengal, has caused enormous problems for the citizens due to the water-logging situation in twin-city, especially for people residing in low lying areas here. Amid the water-logging situation, an ambulance got stuck at Bajrakabati canal road in Cuttack late on Monday night.

Reportedly, the ambulance was carrying the patient to a private hospital via the Bajrakabati canal road when it got stuck on the road due to the water-logging situation caused to due to incessant rainfall across the state.

The ambulance attendants immediately informed regarding the blockage of road to the concerned authorities, following which the local fire fighters rushed to the spot.

They immediately shifted the patient from the ambulance to a stretcher and carried amid the water-logged road.

A similar situation also occurred on the roads of capital city where a 108 emergency ambulance got stuck. Following this, the local firefighters pushed the ambulance out of the road.
