Bhubaneswar: With an objective to encourage able journalists as well as budding journalists, ‘Ama TV’ and ‘Mo Khabar’ have launched a program. Under this program the short listed journalists will be awarded in an event on April 16 at Jaydev Bhawan in the Capital city.
In this context, a press meet was held on 9 February at HHI in the capital city. Many renowned journalists of print, electronic and web channels were present on this occasion while renowned film actors Babusan Mohanty and Anu Choudhuray were also present. Besides, social worker Keshab Rao, Jivan Jyoti Barik and Anup Rath and Sanjay Chowdhury, regional head of Kutchina were also present on this occasion.
Under the program Odisha based journalists have been appealed to send their best published stories. They can also send their stories through.
Pranay Jethy, MD of ‘Ama TV’ intimated about it. The jounalists who want to take part in the contest are requested to send at least one of their best stories by March end.
At least three short listed journalists will be awarded in two categories named ‘I am the Best’ and ‘Naam toh suna hi hoga’ under this program. They will also be awarded with a monetary amount. In the ‘I am the best’ category, a panel of judges will short list and nominate 10 names. Now, three names out of this 10, will be chosen from public voting. And in the ‘Naam To Suna Hoga’ category, the three finalists will be chosen only by public voting.
