Ama Gaon Ama Bikas Yojana: CM Approves Rs 1.44 Cr For 4 Panchayats today

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday approved Rs 1.44 crore for 32 developmental projects in four Gram Panchayats, one each from Sambalpur, Koraput, Jajpur, and Ganjam districts in Odisha, under Ama Gaon Ama Bikas Yojana.

Out of 32 developmental projects, as many as 9 projects would be implemented in Subai Gram Panchayat of Koraput district at a cost of Rs 39 lakh while 8 projects would be implemented in Bhojapur Gram Panchayat of Sambalpur district at a cost of Rs 35 lakh, 9 projects in Rasulpur Gram Panchayat of Jajpur district at a cost of Rs 37 lakh, and 6 projects in Babanapur gram panchayat of Ganjam district at a cost of Rs 33 lakh.

Earlier on the day, the Chief Minister interacted with the Sarpanch of respective Panchayats through video conferencing from here. He also urged them to expedite the developmental projects in their region.

The State government launched Ama Gaon Ama Bikas Yojana across the state on March 5 this year. Under the Yojana, the Chief Minister interacts with the villagers on Wednesday and Friday in every week and takes review of various development projects of their village.
