Balasore: A youth has been tied and mercilessly beaten up in Rajpur area under Jaleswar police limits in Balasore district of Odisha.
According to reports, the youth broke into a house with an intention to loot near the brick kiln in Rajpur. The locals spotted and caught hold of him on the spot, seized the looted items as well.
Thereafter the owner of the brick kiln arrived at the spot and pasted a paper by writing “I am the thief” on it. Then the locals tied him to pole and thrashed him mercilessly.
No case has been filed yet against the youth with the police.
