Fake notice of reopening of all Technical Universities, Engineering and Professional Colleges in Odisha is going viral

Bhubaneswar: A fake notice regarding the reopening of all Technical Universities, Engineering and Professional Colleges in Odisha is going viral on social media.

The fake notice in the name of the Skill Development and Technical Education Department says that the physical classes in all engineering and technical institutions would begin from July 26.

The fake letter has been addressed to all the Vice-Chancellors of all Government and private technical universities, Director of IGIT Sarang, Principals of all Government and private engineering Colleges.

“The Government is pleased to announce that all technical universities, technical Colleges under State and Private Administration are allowed to open from 26.07.2021 following prior COVID-19 protocols and SOP (Standard Operating Procedure). The institutions are directed to follow the Social distancing and proper sanitization regularly. Physical classroom teaching will be allowed from 26.07.2021 (Monday) with proper covid-19 protocol/guidelines,” the fake letter reads.

“All Students should follow the guidelines of physical classroom teaching guidelines, hostels are allowed to open from 23.07. 2021 (Friday), all institutions are advised to follow the guidelines positively,” it added.
