Air Health Services Launched In Nabarangpur

Nabarangpur: The Mukhyamantri Bayu Swasthya Seva (Air Health Services) has been launched in Nabarangpur today. The plan will provide better health services to the people of the tribal-dominated districts in the field of modern medicine.

Reportedly, this Mukhyamantri Bayu Swasthya Seva (Air Health Services) in the district’s health care system is a landmark move by the state government.

Under the scheme, super-specialty health care can now be made available by senior specialist doctors of the Medical College.

On April 15 and 16 at the District Headquarter Hospital (DHH), the health camps will have special treatments from the Department of Gastroenterology, Urology, Cardiology, and Laparoscopic Surgery. Many patients from all corners of the district have registered their names at the DHH.

A team of state chief medical experts arrived in Nabarangpur by helicopter from Bhubaneswar today and treated the patients who had pre-registered.

Notably, the expert team today includes Professor of the Department of Urology, Dr. Dattashwar Hota, Professor of Gastrology, Dr. Chittaranjan Panda, Professor of Cardiology Dr. Biswajit Das, Prof.Dr. Banabihari Mishra, Dr. Khageshwar Raut, the chief doctor at the district headquarter hospital, is scheduled to perform surgery on patients and treat some patients. A total of 164 patients registered themselves in the last two days.

Adding to it, as many as 17 people in neurology, 54 in cardiology, 34 in urology, 40 in gastrology, and 40 in other departments registered their names.
