Advisors Appointed To Odisha Govt Give Up Honorarium

Bhubaneswar: The BJD leaders recently appointed as advisors to various departments of Odisha government have decided not to take any salary/honorarium for their service.

As many as 11 advisors of the BJD were conferred with major ranks in the administration.

The advisors have written a letter to Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik expressing their desire to work without any honorarium. The leaders in the letter have also thanked Patnaik for giving them an opportunity and also pledged their complete dedication and devotion in carrying out their responsibilities successfully.

On September 6, the Odisha government had conferred Minister of State (MoS), principal secretary and chief secretary rank on the newly-appointed advisors to various key departments.
