Admission to medical courses begins in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The first phase admission into MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) and BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) for students qualified under National Eligibility cum Entrance Test began in Odisha today.

On last Sunday the OJEE authorities had released the final list of 3,654 candidates enabling them to take up counselling at 1150 medical seats in the state’s government and private medical colleges across the State.

On the first day, the counselling process for SCB Medical College in Cuttack has begun at the OJEE office in Bhubaneswar.

Worth mentioning, on July 2 the OJEE authorities had extended the medical counselling date. Following the extension students got one more day for the admission.

The first phase admission will continue till July 10.
