Bhubaneswar: In a shocking incident, Bhubaneswar-Cuttack Twin City Commissionerate Police Special Squad ACP Sanjiv Satpathy’s minor son found dead in his room at his father’s official residence at Jaydev Vihar today.
As per the report, the deceased, 12-year-old Ayush Satpathy’s body was found hanging to the ceiling fan in his bedroom by family members this morning.
Ayush who was studying in Standard VII in a English medium school in the capital city was normal last night and didn’t show any suicidal tendency, informed his family members. He went to bed after dinner last night and didn’t open the door of his room till late this morning. Family members broke open the door to find the minor dead only.
Meanwhile, Nayapalli Police has reached the spot along with scientific team to start investigation into the death.
Police have maintained that the exact cause of the death could be ascertained only after the autopsy of the body.
Meanwhile, cops have seized the mobile phone of the minor suspecting that he might have fallen victim to any harmful online game.
