Aahara Kendras to remain open for parcel food during lockdown in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: All the Aadhar Kendras across Odisha will remain open for takeaway only during the upcoming lockdown that is to be enforced from 5th to 19th May in the State. A letter from the office of the SRC also said that activities related to Pipili Bye Election are permitted and hostels of IITs, IIMs are allowed to remain open.

The government of Odisha amended the order No.2328/R&DM (DM) dated 01. 05. 2021 and made some important changes on Monday.

The order said that all the Aahara Kendras in the State will remain open for takeaway only.

“Institutions of Govt. of India like IITs/ IIMs and others are allowed to keep their hostels open with strict adherence to COVID safety protocols,” also said the letter.

All activities relating to Pipili Bye Election are permitted as per instructions/ guidelines issued by ECI, Govt of India/ CEO, Odisha, also said the letter.
