Puri: A Hindu representative team from Pakistan, consisting of 93 people, on Monday visited the Jagannath Temple in Puri.

The team members were also felicitated by Omkarnath Mission in Bhubaneswar, which organised their visit in association with Odisha International Center.

The visitors are from Islamabad, Karachi, and Balochistan areas of Pakistan and are in India to visit all the holy religious places.

Before visiting Puri, they had been to Haridwar and Rishikesh in Uttarakhand.

“We hope that the governments on both the sides maintain peace so that people from both the sides can travel from one side to another,” a member of the team said.
