894 missing children rescued by Odisha Police

Bhubaneswar: As many as 894 missing children have been rescued by Odisha Police under a special drive that was launched to trace and rescue missing children.

Launched by the Odisha Police the special drive was carried out from 18 to 25 January.

Out of the 894 rescued children, only 94 are boys while the remaining 800 are minor girls.

Among the missing children, 127 are from Kendrapara district, 111 from Mayurbhanj and 88 from Balasore.

Odisha DGP praised the efforts of the district officials involved in the rescue operation.

Odisha Government and Odisha Police are committed to stopping crime against women and children. Special emphasis is being laid on this mission by the State Police.
