8,392 appear in NEST for admission into NISER

Entrance test for NISER Bhubaneswar: As many as 8,392 students from different parts of Odisha on Saturday appeared in the entrance examination, popularly known as National Eligibility Screening Test (NEST), for admission into the National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER).

The entrance test was held between 10 AM and 1 PM in 15 centres across the state.

The exam was also conducted at 124 centres in 90 cities across the country.

The results will be declared on June 16 and the successful candidates will take admission in the five-year integrated M Sc program in four disciplines namely Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics.
