Rayagada: At least eight road construction labourers fell sick after consuming curry prepared with toxic mushroom in Godipari under Kalyansighpur block of Rayagada district last night.
As per the report, they victims who had been engaged in a road construction project in the village for past few days had purchased the mushroom from a nearby market and consumed those in dinner.
Later, they developed symptoms like nausea and vomiting and turned critical to be rushed to a nearby hospital.
While the health condition of all the sick are stable now doctors treating has stated it to be a case of food poisoning.
