Bhubaneswar: Amid the ongoing scorching heat wave conditions, people of as many as eight districts are likely to have a sigh of relief as their concerned district is likely to receive light to moderate rain/thundershower and lightening today.
One of the Duty Officers of the Meteorological Centre in Bhubaneswar informed that light to moderate rain/thundershower and lightning are likely to occur over some parts of districts of Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Balasore, Angul, Ganjam, Kandhamal, Rayagada and Gajapati within next three hours.
People of these districts have been advised to stay alert during the next three days and avoid going unnecessarily to prevent any unfortunate incident.
