72 kgs Ganja Seized From Secret Chamber Of Van In Odisha

Boudh: Illegal transportation of Narcotic Drugs (contraband ganja) kept in a secret chamber of a pick up van has been caught by the STF on Monday near Sankhari Chhak under Baunsuni police station in Boudh district of Odisha.

According to reports the STF acted on the basis of reliable information regarding the transport of ganja. Two accused persons namely Laxman Jala of Chatwa of Koraput district and Ramesh Chandra Kausalya of Kachapai Dist. Rayagada were apprehended.

One Pick up Van bearing Regd. No. OD 05 AZ 6553 and other incriminating materials have been seized from their possession. A case has been registered at Baunsuni Police Station for necessary legal action.

Almost 72 kgs ganja has been seized by the STF. During last two months STF has conducted raids at various places and registered eight cases against drug peddlers including the above noted case.
