Bhubaneswar: KIIT and KISS University celebrated the 70th Republic Day amidst pomp and show here on Saturday. President of University’s Executive Committee Members Smt. Saswati Bal hoisted the flag. Students actively participated in the celebrations and showcased their talent via cultural activities too.
While the whole country is in a celebratory mood, KIIT and KISS were to be not left behind in the celebrations. The chief guest of the Republic Day Celebrations was Indonesia’s Ashram Gandhi Puri in Bali’s founder Agus Indra Udayana.
Also present at the event was Founder of KIIT and KISS, Prof. Achyuta Samanta. He encouraged the students to work towards the growth of the country. He said via Twitter, “I see the shining future of India here. My lovable #KIITians and #KISSians, you are my pride!”
Students belonging to KIIT and KISS University participated in the Republic Day parade. Also part of the cultural events were little wonders from KISS. They displayed the strong bond in between nature and the Adivasis
At 70th Republic Day Celebrations at KIIT & KISS, many officials of various departments were rewarded for their dedicated hard work.
