Jaleswar: Around seven persons sustained critical injuries, after a bus in which they were travelling turned turtle near Angua in West-Bengal late last night.
The ill-fated private bus named ‘Diana’ carrying 55 passengers on board was on its way to Angul from Kolkata. The driver lost control over its wheels, following which the bus skidded off the road and overturned.
The critical injured passengers were rescued by the locals and were immediately rushed to the Medinapur hospital for treatment.
On being informed, Medinapur police reached the spot and started a probe into the matter.
