Mayurbhanj: A 65-year-old woman was trampled to death by an elephant and two others sustained injuries in Odisha’s Mayurbhanj district on Tuesday.
The deceased woman has been identified as Subhadra Rana and the injured are Indrajit Mahanta and Naitani Mahanta.
The incident took place at Palashmundali village under Morada block in Mayurbhanj, when she had gone to pluck flowers when the pachyderm attacked her and she died on the spot.
