Keonjhar: Ghatgaon police today arrested a 65-year-old for allegedly raping a 15-year-old minor girl. Police said that the accused was exploiting the girl sexually for the past two months.
The accused has been identified as Managobinda Munda. Munda had raped the girl in a forest two months ago and had threatened her of dire consequences if she told the matter to anyone.
“The accused later blackmailed the victim and raped her several times. The matter came to light after the girl became pregnant. The parents of the victim lodged a formal police complaint and the accused was arrested subsequently,” said a police official.
