Dhenkanal: A 65-year-old woman has allegedly been gang raped near the Dhenkanal District Headquarter Hospital (DHH) yesterday.
Last night, some of miscreants allegedly carried the lady to the nearby pond and raped her there.
The Dhenkanal DHH authorities immediately informed the police. They arrived and took the victim to the Dhenkanal Town Police Station to investigate further.
The victim has undergone a preliminary medical examination said reports. The police in the meantime has arrested two people in this connection.
The woman has been taken to the scene where the incident took place to narrate the happenings. A probe has been initiated into the matter.
