Koraput: Boipariguda police today seized ganja weighing 606 kilograms from a tractor and arrested three persons in this connection.
Acting on a tip off, the police team intercepted the tractor and seized the contraband. Police have also seized the vehicle used for transportation of ganja.
“The accused are being further interrogated to ascertain the source of procurement of ganja. We are also further verifying the antecedents of the accused. The drive against illegal smuggling of narcotics will be intensified,” said a police official.
