Koraput: At least 60 persons has been taken ill after consuming food at a marriage feast in Tingiriaguda and Keluguda villages of Koraput district last night.
As per the report marriage of a local youth was being held in Tingiriaguda village and hundreds of people of both the villages had been invited to the feast. However, the wedding revelry turned sour after a number of people developed symptoms like nausea, stomach pain and vomiting after consuming the food served there.
The victims were rushed to Boipariguda Community Health Centre (CHC) after the incident and are currently under treatment.
A team of doctors has reached the CHC and put the patients under observation.
