Jajpur: At least six persons were hurt and three of them turned critical later in a fight which broke out among the members of a family over a domestic quarrel in Arakhapada village under Dharmashala police limits on Tuesday.
The incident took place in the morning after an argument erupted between Dusasan Sahu and his sister-in-law (wife of younger brother) Kalpana Sahu, who live in a joint family, over some issue in the morning. However, things went out of control as other members of the family took sides in the duel and started attacking each other with sharp weapons.
Dusasan and Kalpana along with four others in the family sustained head injury in the incident and were rushed to Dharmashala CHC. Three of the injured were later shifted to SCB Medical due to deteriorating condition.
Police have lodged a case in connection with the incident and started investigation.
