6-feet-long Python weighing 20 kg rescued in Odisha’s Keonjhar

Keonjhar: A huge python was rescued from the Telkoi Thana sahi under Telkoi Range of Keonjhar Forest Division in Odisha on Tuesday. The python was said to be 6 feet long and weighted 20 kilogram.

As per reports, the huge python got entangled in the plastic net used as a boundary wall in the backyard of one Pir Mohammed Khan yesterday night. Khan’s family witnessed the snake today morning and informed the Forest officials.

The forest officials reached the spot and rescued the python. The python is said to be of 6 feet long and its age should be around one year and eight months, the forest official said. The reptile was later released into the Samakoi Reserve forest in Keonjhar district.
