6 of family found dead in Patnagarh: murder due to past enmity suspected, 2 neighbours detained

Patnagarh: In the horrifying case of death of six persons of a family in Patnagarh Police have taken hold of 2 neighbours. These neighbours had fled from the scene following the crime. Police caught them from the forest in Mandal area.

As per reports, based on the information provided by one Saroj, son of Bulu Jani, whose dead body was found yesterday, Police went into action and caught two neighbours from the forest. They have been detained and police interrogation is going on. Although it is too early to come to a conclusion, the case has been prima facie seems to be a case of murder.

It is to be noted that six persons of a family, including 2 kids and 2 minors, were found dead yesterday inside their house in Kusumpada under Patnagarh block of Balangir district in Odisha. Their dead bodies had been found wrapped in blankets. A case has been launched in this connection and Police investigation is underway.
