Cuttack: Odisha Crime Branch rescued six children barely two hours after ‘Operation Muskaan-3’ was launched on Saturday to trace missing children within and outside the state.
According to sources in the police, the children were rescued from Khandagiri area of the capital city. They have been sent to Bhairabi club in Jatni.
According to B.K. Sharma, Special Director General of Crime Branch, the month-long operation will be carried out by eight times in two phases.
The first phase of the rescue operation, which began today, would continue till July 29 in the state, while the second phase will be conducted between July 30 and Aug 13 outside the state.
