Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has begun the process to fill-up the vacancies of doctors in the state to strengthen the healthcare delivery mechanism in the state.
As per an official statement issued by the health department, the state government has decided to start counselling from tomorrow to recruit 596 doctors including 113 specialists, 483 MBBS doctors and 171 dentists.
They will be appointed within 10 days after the counselling process.
This apart, the state government will also recruit 2000 MBBS doctors as per the rule of a new cadre.
