Bolangir: A huge cache of cough syrup bottles has been seized in Bolangir district of Odisha on Friday, three persons have been arrested in this connection.
According to reports, as many as 5000 bottles of cough syrup has been seized by the Sadar police.
On getting a reliable tip-off the Sadar police conducted a raid in Patharachepa area on Bolangir-Patnagarh road and seized the cough syrup bottles.
The police also arrested three people during illegal transportation of the consignment in a pick-up van.
The police has also seized the pickup van and is investigating further into the matter.
