Bhubaneswar: The Panchayati Raj Department of the Odisha government has released the final list of reservations for the post of Zilla Parishad presidents across the State.
Reportedly, out of the 30 Zilla Parishad president posts in the State, 15 have been reserved for women candidates.
Out of the 15 Zilla Parishad president posts reserved for women, three are reserved for scheduled caste, and four for the scheduled tribe.
Zilla Parishad president posts for the scheduled caste category have been reserved in Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapara, Bhadrak, Boudh, and Jajpur districts. Similarly, the posts for scheduled tribe category have been reserved in Kandhamal, Koraput, Nabarangpur, Mayurbhanj, Malkangiri, Rayagada, and Sundargarh districts.
