50 People Associated With Jagannath Temple Test Covid Positive, SJTA Administrator

Puri: As many as 50 persons associated with Puri Jagannath Temple (Sri Mandir) have tested Covid positive.

Among the 50 positives, 22 are sevayats and their family members, 19 are shoe stand workers and 9 are temple staff, informed Sri Jagannath Temple Administrator Ajay Kumar Jena.

It is noteworthy that 17 sevayats have returned from the famous Kumbh Mela, of which 2 have tested negative for Covid. 13 reports are yet to come in and two have not tested till now further informs SJTA Administrator.
