Jeypore: In a shocking incident a five-year-old minor girl was killed after a wall at her house caved in and fell over her in Jamunaguda village under Jeypore Town Police Station area in Koraput district today.
The deceased child has been identified as Sneha Khara, daughter of Ajay Khara of the village.
The mishap took place minutes before the girl’s leaving for school in the morning. A weak portion of wall in the house collapsed and crushed her under the rubble.
While the family members of the victim rushed her to Koraput District Headquarters Hospital (DHH) soon after the incident, doctors declared her received dead.
Jeypore Town Police has reached the spot and started investigation into the mishap after sending the body for autopsy.
