Sambalpur: In a shocking incident, five students of Chandra Sekhar Behera School in Sambalpur went missing yesterday and are yet to be traced.
According to reports, five ninth class students of the school including two girls did not return home after leaving for the school.
After searching for the students at all the possible locations till late evening, their parents lodged complaints at Dhanupali police station.
In its preliminary investigation, the local police found out that one of the missing students had carried the cell-phone which they traced last from Jharsuguda.
Search operation is still on to trace the missing students. Police are also investigating whether the students had any dispute with their parents and they left their houses by themselves or some others have taken them.
