Bhubaneswar: While it was a shocking news for people of Odisha yesterday as 13 more COVID cases were detected in a single day, today a latest corona update of the state has brought happiness to Odisha. Five more corona positive patients, one each from Bhubaneswar, Dhenkanal, Sundergarh, Kendrapara and Kalahandi recovered today, intimated Govt of Odisha.
Accordingly, the total number of COVID positive cases of Odisha who recovered, rose to 29.
The Health and Family Welfare department of Odisha Govt intimated this in its official twitter handle on Tuesday. The tweet reads: Happy to share that 5 more COVID19 positive cases, one each from Bhubaneswar, Dhenkanal, Kalahandi, Sundargarh and Kendrapada have recovered. With this, the total recoveries of the State stand at 29.

After today’s 5 recoveries there are active COVID positive cases now only in five districts of Odisha and there is no active cases now in Kalahandi, Dhenkanal and Sundargarh districts. To sum up now total 49 active cases in 5 districts of Odisha — Bhubaneswar 28, Jajpur 6, Kendrapara 1, Bhadrak 6 and Balasore 8.
