5 Forest Personnel Injured In Elephant Attack In Odisha

Khordha: In an unfortunate incident as many as five forest personnel have been injured by a herd of wild elephants in Odisha. 

According to reports, five forest officials including an assistant Conservator of Forest had gone to shoo away a herd of elephants when they were allegedly attacked.

The incident took place on Monday morning near Gayabandha village under Jankia Police Station in Khordha district of Odisha. 

The herd had sneaked into the Jankia area of Khordha. It went on a rampage in the area.

The five forest personnel have been admitted to All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Bhubaneswar.
