Bhubaneswar: 5 cases of Coronavirus have been detected in Odisha’s capital city today. As on May 19, 2022 Bhubaneswar has recorded 5 positive cases in the last 24 hours.
According to reports by Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC), 5 positive cases that was reported today were local contact cases. Single case was detected from Chandrasekharpur and Old town each. On the other hand, 3 cases were registered in Niladri Vihar.
With today’s development the total Covid-19 positive cases have increased to 1,56,632. The recovered cases are 1,56,350. The total deceased cases are 1193. At present, the active Covid-19 cases in Bhubaneswar stand at 68. The recovered cases in BMC in last 24 hours are 3.
Odisha on Thursday reported 12 new Covid cases including two children, informed the Information and Public Relations (I&PR) Department. The positive tally stands at 12,88,339.
Reportedly, among the 12, seven patients are in quarantine, and five are local contacts. The active cases in Odisha currently stand at 120.
Today, Khordha recorded the highest Covid cases with six positives followed by Gajapati with two cases while Balangir, Cuttack, Nuapada, and State Pool with one positive case each.
