Bhubaneswar: 5 new cases of Coronavirus have been detected in Smart city Bhubaneswar in the last 24 hours.
According to reports by Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) on May 28, 2022 the cases were local contact cases. Single positive cases were reported today from Patia, Khandagiri and CS Pur area of the city. On the other hand, 2 cases were reported from Dumduma area.
With today’s development the total Covid-19 cases have increased to 1,56,663. The recovered cases are 1,55,366. The total deceased cases are 1193. At present, the active Covid-19 cases in Bhubaneswar stand at 83. The recovered cases in BMC in last 24 hours were 2.
Odisha on Saturday reported 11 new Covid cases, informed the Information and Public Relations (I&PR) Department.
The positive tally stands at 12,88,422.
Reportedly, among the 11, seven patients are in quarantine, and five are local contacts.
