5 Armed Miscreants Nabbed In Kendrapara District Of Odisha

Kendrapara: As many as five armed miscreants have been arrested in connection with a robbery that took place on Cuttack-Chandbali road near Ganja village in Kendrapara district of Odisha.

According to reports, the miscreants stopped the hyva truck late at night that was coming from Chandbali on February 17 this year. They looted some cash and a mobile phone from the driver, identified as Saik Muna, by pointing a dagger at him.

Saik lodged a complaint with the Rajakanika police station.

On the basis of the complaint, the Patamundai Sub Divisional Police (SDP) and the cops of Aul and Rajkanika on the orders of Kendrapara Superintendent of Police (SP) launched a joint investigation and successfully arrested the five miscreants, informed Kendrapada Additional SP in a press meet.

There were two minors among the five robbers, added Kendrapara Additional SP.

The cops have seized one bolero, two bikes, one thousand rupees, one mobile phone and one dagger from them.

The group of five miscreants were also involved in various robberies in Aul, Rajkanika, Chandbali and Kendrapara areas, said police.
