4-year-old falls in hot kheer vessel in Odisha, critical
A feast was being cooked in the village when a child who was playing nearby slipped and fell into the boiling kheer in Nuapada of Odisha.
Nuapada: A tragic incident that took place in Nuapada district of Odisha on Friday. A four-year-old was critically scalded.
According to reports, the incident happened in Ranimunda village under Khadial block of Nuapada district.
Reports say that a feast was being cooked in the village when a child who was playing nearby slipped and fell into the boiling milk with which kheer was supposed to be made and was seriously injured.
According to information, the four-year-old son of Hutesh Kumar Herna of Ranimunda village, fell into the hot kheer pot while playing near it while it was being cooked.
A bystander rescued him, said reliable reports. While most of the child’s body was burnt, the child was immediately rescued and admitted to Khadiyal Mission Hospital.
Since the condition of the child was critical he has been shifted to Raipur District Headquarter Hospital for further treatment.
