4 vehicle owners fined Rs. 1 lakh as minor boys caught riding their bikes in Odisha

Keonjhar: The vehicle owners of four minor students fined with Rs. 1 lakh in Keonjhar district of Odisha on Wednesday as their minor wards were caught on CCTV driving bikes. The said four students were caught when they were returning from their respective Schools on bike.

As per reports, the Road Transport department has taken various measures to nab traffic and Motor Vehicles rules’ violators. Accordingly, officials are checking at road points and also CCTVs have been installed to check traffic violations.

Accordingly, four students were caught in the CCTV today who were riding vehicles although all of them are of minor age. As per reports, challans were issued in the names of the vehicle owners as per the MV Act section 199A (2) who had allowed the minor students to ride. Each of them were issued a challan of Rs. 25,000, intimated Keonjhar RTO.
