Balasore: At least four members of a family fell sick after consuming bael (wood apple) juice in Hatasahi village under Oupada block in Balasore district last night.
As per the report, the victim family had purchased the wood apple from a local market last night and consumed ‘pana’ (juice) made from it.
All the members of the family later developed symptoms like head reeling, nausea and vomiting by the late night and turned critical. They were rushed to a hospital in Nilagiri immediately by neighbours.
While the conditions of all the victims are stated to be stable after treatment, they are under observation over suspected food poisoning, said doctors at the hospital.
