4 killed in separate road accidents in Odisha

Malkangiri/Phulbani: At least four persons were killed in two separate road accidents in Malknagiri and Kandhamal districts of the state today.

In the first such road mishap, two persons died on the spot after two bikes collided head-on at Kakurkonda village in Kalimela Tehsil of the Maoist-affected district of Malkangiri.

In the second such incident, two persons were killed when the bike on which they were travelling with another person ramped into a roadside stone at Budilipadar ghat near Tumbudibandh of Kandhamal districts. Another person who sustained severe injuries in the accident has been admitted to the hospital.

While the identities of the deceased are yet to be known, police have begun investigation in both the incidents.
