Berhampur: At least four persons sustained critical injuries after a group clash broke out in Adapada area under Hinjilicut police limits in Ganjam district over a petty incident last night.
As per the report, a verbal duel erupted between two local youths, whose identities are yet to be ascertained, at a roadside eatery near the village over serving of French fries. The dispute later escalated into a group clash on the road after supporters of both attacked each other with sharp weapons.
The injured persons were rushed to Adapada Community Health Centre (CHC) in critical condition for treatment by some locals.
Hinjilicut Police rushed to the spot immediately and started an investigation into the incident.
